This engine powers several of the brand’s motorcycles, including the premium Street Glide Limited, which has a starting price of $51,999, considerably higher than competing touring models.
Despite its vintage aesthetic reminiscent of the 1950s, the Street Glide Limited is equipped with modern features such as variable valve timing and electronic fuel injection. These enhancements enable the engine to produce 115 horsepower and 139 lb-ft of torque, a significant factor that attracts riders looking for power and performance.

In the competitive market for American motorcycles, Indian Motorcycles vies for rider dollars with its top model, the Pursuit Elite. The Milwaukee-Eight V-Twin eclipses the Honda Gold Wing’s unique 1,833 cc (111-CI) boxer engine, which offers 125 horsepower. The highest-priced Gold Wing model, featuring an automatic transmission and airbag, retails for $33,800, plus a destination fee of $775.
